Big changes are happening at SMAC with the following Committee Members retiring from their positions:

RETIREMENT CELEBRATION Sat 1 June 2019
The club has arranged a function at Shellharbour Club as a farewell party with finger food supplied at cost of $20 per member.

33rd AGM Sunday 28th April
The 33rd AGM of Steelmakers Alpine Club is scheduled for Sunday 28 April 2019 at 2.00pm at the Woonona Surf Club (note the change from Bellambi).
This is an ideal location for our meeting with good views to the sand & surf & allows for members to enjoy the meeting and the afternoon tea that follows in a relaxed atmosphere. See AGM Notice for details.

Spring Working Bee
Weekend of 21, 22 October has been set aside for Spring Working Bee.
Perfect day and conditions for club race
Annual club race was held at Bluecow on Upper Rollercoaster on the 29th July. Congratulations to Ben for fastest mens time, Amanda for fastest womens, and Ariane for fastest snowboard. Race times and photos are now posted in the photo albums area. (PS. some new photos from the 2016 race have also been posted – thanks to Matt for all photos).

Congratulations to Alan Ritchie who was awarded life membership at this year’s AGM for his many years of tireless service to the club. Thanks for all your efforts Alan and enjoy the new blazer (though you may have to grow a few sizes to fill it out!)
